Tyres. The tyres should be "broken-in" prior to testing to remove spew, compound nodules or flashes resulting from the moulding process. The tyre surface in contact with snow shall be cleaned before performing a test. Tyres shall be conditioned at the outdoor ambient temperature at least two hours before their mounting for tests. Tyre pressures shall then be adjusted to the values specified for the test. In case a vehicle cannot accommodate both the reference and candidate tyres, a third tyre ("control" tyre) may be used as an intermediate. First test control vs. reference on another vehicle, then test candidate vs. control on the vehicle.
Tyres. The vehicle shall be tested with the tyres installed on the vehicle according to the vehicle manufacturer's recommendation. However, the spare tyre may be utilised for testing TPMS malfunction.
Tyres. The tyres are inflated to the vehicle manufacturer's recommended cold inflation pressure(s) e.g. as specified on the vehicle's placard or the tyre inflation pressure label. Tubes may be installed to prevent tyre de-beading.

Our Authorised Repairers will replace Your tyres (like for like with Our choice of premium brand tyres) once the tyre’s tread reaches 2mm (or lower) on a fair wear and tear basis. Fair wear and tear will be determined at Our discretion based on Your Vehicle’s repair history and mileage usage. We will also cover the cost of repairs or replacement to punctured tyres (as determined at the Authorised Repairer’s discretion), wheel balancing and replacement of the puncture repair kit will also be completed as necessary. We will not cover the cost of repair or replacement of tyres where damage has been caused by kerbing, accidents or vandalism, or where the repair or replacement is not conducted by Our Authorised Repairer.
Tyres. Tyres have to be black. The design of the tyre profile is free. It is not allowed to treat the tyres in a racing facility. This means it is clearly forbidden. But if someone use it at home, it is recommended that the chemical components of these products must be harmless for people and environment. Liability at the use of tyre additives lies at the user and manufacturer. Paintwork and colour are free. The design of the visible suspension parts must have the same appearance than the original F1 cars. All cut-outs must exist also in the full-size car. Cut outs for the engine and fuel tank are allowed in the area of the tank seal, starting device and adjusting screws for carburettor i.e. choke, neutral gear etc. For Formula cars the side pods have to be used for the starting number. Minimum weight dry: 10.000 g Width Formula maximum: 450 mm (incl. tyres) Height maximum: 250 mm Wheel base: 620 mm +/-15 mm Fuel tank capacity: 700 cm³ (incl pipes to & from the carburettor and any fittings) Tyres front diameter: 142 mm +/- 5% = 134,9-149,1mm Tyres rear diameter: 142 mm +/- 5% = 134,9-149,1mm Tyre width front: min. 60mm, max. 75mm Tyre width rear: max. 85mm, (rear wheels must be min. 5mm wider than front wheels) Rims outside diameter: 80mm +/-5mm, (indicators must be the same on tyres & rims) No mixture of +/- is allowed on the wheels and tyres. No tyre will be measured after the race. • Tyres must be semi-pneumatic rubber. • They must be moulded in one piece • In case of rain the use of rain tyre can be allowed by the race director. • Max width 450 mm max. cord 120 mm. • The front spoiler must be fixed at the chassis, so that it can bend up or down in case of an accident.
Tyres. This policy does not insure damage to or destruction of tyres. However, this exclusion will not apply if the damage or destruction results from separate loss that is covered by this policy. This policy does not insure loss arising from theft by any purported purchaser including any fraudulent scheme, device or false pretence
Tyres. The tyres shall be inflated to pressures as specified by the vehicle manufacturer for the test vehicle at the laden condition. The tolerance for the inflation pressure in a cold state is " 2 per cent.

16.1. The most recent research on the use of tyres on allotments suggests that even old tyres continue to leachtoxins when in contact with soil and with exposure to the elements. While the main ingredient in tyres is natural rubber, the stabilisers and other chemicals used to enhance the performance of the tyre are toxic. While the Council would like to support alternative uses for tyres, it appears that the longer-term risks to soil aretoo great.
16.2. As a general rule: Where poor quality, degrading or non-purposed plastic sheeting, bags, bottles, or carpet, rugs, underlay, foam, or tyres are in existing use, Tenants will be issued with a warning notice that these items must be safely removed within a specified period. Failure to remove items within the specified period will result in the Council charging you for removal of the items.
