Unassigned Time. 1. It is understood that when a teacher in a special area is in charge of a class the general education elementary teacher may leave the classroom. The School Committee will use its best efforts to find a substitute for any teacher in a special area who may be absent for any reason. By mutual agreement between the general elementary education teacher and the principal, the teacher may observe a special area teacher and equivalent unassigned time shall be scheduled within twenty (20) working days of the observation. 3. Elementary based itinerants (physical education, music and art) shall receive 160 minutes of unassigned time during each week. Elementary special education teachers shall receive 160 minutes of unassigned time in each week. The School Committee will use reasonable efforts to provide such unassigned time in blocks of at least fifteen (15) minutes, which shall be exclusive of student passing time between classes. Before and after school shall not be considered as unassigned time.

Unassigned Time. Each employee shall have thirty (30) minutes of unassigned time per day in accordance with current practice: unassigned time is not taken at the beginning or end of the day and no more than half of the employees take unassigned time at the same time. Unassigned time must be approved by the Employer through the submission of class schedules at the beginning of the school year or when a change is desired. In the case of an emergency, unassigned time can be cancelled.
Unassigned Time. In addition to their lunch period as set forth in Section B, Item 1 below, teaching assistants shall have a minimum of five (5) unassigned periods of no less than fifteen (15) minutes in duration weekly and at least one (1) per day.

  • Reassigned Time Each faculty member who coaches students for intercollegiate forensics competition shall receive at least two (2) credits reassignment time for each semester, in which he/she fulfills such responsibility.

  • Banked Time The implementation of these provisions shall not be considered to be a layoff. 8.

  • Extended Time An employee whose regular teaching contract has extended time added to it shall be compensated at his/her per diem rate in effect at the time the extended time is scheduled to be performed.

  • Released Time Should the investigation or processing of any grievance require that an employee(s) or an Association representative(s) be released from his/her regular assignment, upon request of the Association, he/she shall be released without loss of pay or benefits.

  • GENERAL EXCLUSIONS We do not insure for loss caused directly or indirectly by any of the following. Such loss is excluded regardless of any other cause or event contributing concurrently or in any sequence to the loss. These exclusions apply whether or not the loss event results in widespread damage or affects a substantial area.
