Underenrolled Classes. [See also 10.2 Teaching Load; and Deans Guideline: Dealing with Underenrolled Classes at Shambles]. Ordinarily, underenrolled classes (on site or Online/Hybrid) for which students have options will be canceled before the start of the class. It is understood that the College has the option to offer underenrolled class sections and assign the full LHE value when students do not have other reasonable options, and may include, but is not limited to: ● When the class is a required course for program completion ● The course is part of an institutional initiative in its start-up period (e.g. learning communities, among others) ● The course is required for developmental students who cannot otherwise register for other Oakton courses. This option would not apply when there are other sections of the same course available to students. This determination lies solely with the Vice President for Academic Affairs in consultation with the Council of Deans. If an underenrolled section for which students do have other options is offered, it will be paid on a pro-rata basis according to the formula below:

  • COVERED CLASSIFICATIONS All employees shall be subject to post-Accident testing under this Agreement. All employees who perform Safety-Sensitive Functions, as defined in this Policy, shall be subject to reasonable suspicion testing.

  • SPECIALIZED JOB CLASSES Where there is a particular specialized job class in which the pay rate is below the local market value assessment of that job class, the parties may use existing means under the collective agreement to adjust compensation for that job class.

  • New Classification Should a new position or new classification be created within the Bargaining Unit during the term of this Agreement, the Employer and the Union will decide the rate of pay. Nothing herein prevents the Employer from filling such positions and having Nurses working in such positions during such negotiations. The salary when determined will be retroactive to the date on which the successful candidate commenced work in that classification.

  • New Classifications If a new classification is created within the bargaining unit, the Employer agrees to meet with the Union and negotiate a rate of pay for this new classification. If the parties cannot reach agreement, at the request of either party, the matter shall be submitted to the arbitration procedure in Article 26 of this Agreement.

  • Participating Class Members The Administrator will send, by U.S. mail, a single check to every Participating Class Member (i.e., every Class Member who doesn’t opt-out) including those who also qualify as Aggrieved Employees. The single check will combine the Individual Class Payment and the Individual PAGA Payment.

  • Class Sizes In the annual assignment of duties, the designated supervisor shall consult with the department in determining appropriate class sizes for individual courses. In making such a determination, the designated supervisor shall consider operational requirements, sound pedagogical principles, and the workload implication of teaching such courses (also see Letter of Understanding #3).

  • Alternate Billed Calls 1.1 The Parties will engage in settlements of intraLATA intrastate alternate-billed calls (e.g., collect, calling card, and third-party billed calls) originated or authorized by their respective Customers in accordance with an arrangement mutually agreed to by the Parties.

  • Change in Classification A change in classification shall not alter a nurse’s accrued seniority for purposes of accrual of benefits or placement in the wage schedule.

  • Classes The officers of the Company shall be a President, a Secretary, a Treasurer, and, if deemed necessary, expedient, or desirable by the Board of Managers, an Executive Vice President, one or more Senior Vice Presidents, one or more other Vice Presidents, one or more Assistant Treasurers, one or more Assistant Secretaries, and such other officers as may be elected or appointed in accordance with the provisions of this article. Additional officers and duties may be added by amendments to this article by the Members.
