Tuition and Fee Waiver. Pursuant to applicable laws, full-time and associate faculty who work 50% or more in the quarter they wish to participate in the Tuition Waiver Program at Skagit Valley College are eligible to request tuition waiver. Additional costs such as lab or record fees, books, supplies and materials are the responsibility of the faculty member.

Tuition and Fee Waiver. Members of the full-time faculty and their immediate families (spouse, domestic partner, eligible dependents and/or their domestic partner’s eligible dependents) may enroll in Oakton credit courses at no cost for tuition. The college will also waive up to $125 in fees per academic year to be used by members of the full-time faculty or their immediate families, as long as the aggregate total cost of fees waived does not exceed $125.

If the building, bad debt, and contingency fees exceed 10% of all mandatory fees, the University agrees to remit the total amount of all other mandatory fees. The one-time Matriculation Fee and International Student Orientation Fee shall also be remitted. Graduate Assistants appointed at 0.2 FTE and above will have 100% of the E- Campus distance education fee remitted each term, including summer.
