– UNION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 4.1 The Employer agrees to recognize the following representatives of the Union: (a) A negotiating committee of not more than three (3) nurses employed by the Home. Any differences will be resolved by the Director, Student Health Services/Designate.
4.6 If 8.06 Acknowledging that mutual benefits are derived from joint consultation, a nurse representative Union/Management Committee is transferred from an area established to anotherenter into discussions concerning matters related to work load, such nurse will continue scheduling, job content, and any other matters of concern not covered by this Collective Agreement. In accord with these principles the parties agree as follows:
(a) Meetings between the Union and the University may be held as required at times as mutually agreed but no more than once monthly. The party requesting the meeting shall make the request in writing advising the other party of the matter(s) it wishes to discuss; and

(6.04 a) The Union acknowledges that the nurse representatives and members of the grievance committee members from among the nurses will be required to efficiently perform have their regular duties on behalf of and responsibilities to perform for the Employer, Employer and that such nurses will shall not leave their regular duties without first obtaining permission from their immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably denied. Each of the Manager, Resident Care, nurse representatives and members of the grievance committee shall advise her immediate supervisor when she has returned to leave such regular duties and will report back to the Manager, Resident Care upon resuming their her regular duties. In accordance with this understanding, any The nurse representative or member of the Union who is granted time off during their regular work period to adjust a grievance or possible grievance, or meet with the Employer's representatives on Union business, shall be paid for such time at their regular rate, the combined total of which not to exceed regular daily hours of work.
(b) Nurses on the negotiating committee shall not lose time for attending negotiating meetingssuffer a loss of pay or benefits during her regularly scheduled hours while investigating and/or processing a grievance. Nurses on the evening and night shift shall receive paid time off for Only one entire shift; either the one prior to or the one following the actual day member in total of the negotiating meeting, but not both.
(c) The employer agrees to provide on-site internet access and voice-mail for the use of the Bargaining Unit President.
4.6 If a nurse representative is transferred from an area to another, such nurse will continue to be recognized by the Employer as the representative of the area from which both the nurse has been transferred for one month, except if transferred representatives and the grievance committee shall be allowed to leave her regular duties to investigate and/or process a managerial positiongrievance.
4.7 A temporarily employed nurse may be eligible to serve as nurse representative or Union committee member.

– UNION COMMITTEES AND REPRESENTATIVES. 4.1 10.01 The Employer agrees to recognize the following representatives of the Union:
(a) A negotiating committee a Negotiating Committee of not more than three (3) nurses employed by nurses, in addition to an Employment Relations Officer of the Home.Ontario Nurses' Association;
(b) A grievance committee a Grievance Committee of not more than three (3) nurses employed by the Home.nurses;
(c) two (2) Nurse representatives in the Home's employ Representatives to assist nurses in the presentation of any complaints or grievances that may arise if the nurse representative's assistance is requested by the aggrieved nurse.arise;
(d) Meetings a Union-Management Committee composed of a three (3) members of the Union Management committee comprising of not to meet with no more than three (3) nurses and three (3) Employer representatives may of the Employer. Meetings of this Committee will be held as required at times the request of either party and at least once every four (4) months. The purpose of this Committee is to discuss matters relating to nursing and the provision of the best possible nursing care, including workload and scheduling and the examination of any matters of concern to either party. A written agenda is to be mutually arrangedprovided by both parties with at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice, but not normally more often than once a monthexcluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. The party requesting the meeting shall make a request in writing and shall at the same time advise the other party Chair of the matters it wishes Committee will rotate between the Union and representatives of the Employer. Minutes will be approved and signed by both parties prior to discuss. It is agreed that such meetings are for the purpose only of discussing matters of mutual interest and for the free exchange of information. It is not the intent of this provision to replace or circumvent the grievance procedures established in this agreement. The Union shall make their request for a Union Management committee meeting to the Manager, Resident Care, when the subject matter relates only to professional nursing matters. The Chairperson for this committee shall be appointed on an alternating basis by the Home and the Unionposting.
4.2 The Union committee shall have the right to have the assistance of a representative or consultant of the Ontario Nurses’ Association.
4.3 10.02 The Union will provide the Employer in writing within two (2) weeks after election, with the names of its officers, committee membersmembers and Nurse Representatives. This list will be revised when changes occur.
10.03 The Employer shall pay officers, officers and nurse representatives and shall keep such lists committee members their respective salaries for all regularly scheduled time spent investigating and for processing grievances, negotiating renewal of this Agreement up to date at all times.and not
4.4 Four (4) hours with pay per month is 10.04 The Employer agrees to be granted give representatives of the Ontario Nurses' Association or consultants for the Union reasonable access to the Bargaining Unit President premises of the Employer for the purpose of conducting union businessinvestigating grievances, attending meetings, or otherwise assisting in the administration of this Agreement. Such time representatives or consultants shall be spent on the Home premises at a mutually agreed upon time during the President’s regular working hours and shall be paid at the regular rate of pay.
