Union Interview The Hospital will endeavour to schedule the time and place of the interview referred to in Article 5.06, within the first four (4) weeks of employment on hospital premises and at a time mutually agreed by the Union. The Hospital will advise the Bargaining Unit President or designate of all employees to be interviewed prior to the interview.
Employee Initiated Employee requested cancellations of scheduled vacation leave must be submitted in writing and is subject to prior approval by the Employer.
Credit Union Examination We may disregard any information on any check or draft other than the signature of the drawer, the amount, and any magnetic encoding. You agree that we do not fail to exercise ordinary care in paying an item solely because our procedures do not provide for sight examination of items.
Union Management Relations 4.1 All collective bargaining with respect to hours and general working conditions shall be conducted by authorized representatives of the Union and authorized representatives of the Employer.
Union May Institute Grievances The Union and its representative have the right to originate a grievance on behalf of an employee or group of employees and to seek adjustment with the Employer in the manner provided in the grievance procedure. Such a grievance shall commence at Stage 1.
First Aid Attendants a) Designated First Aid Attendants shall receive their job rate of pay plus the Ticket Premium rate. All other employees holding valid First Aid Tickets shall receive a premium of five cents (5¢) per hour over and above their job rate. There shall be no stacking or pyramiding of premiums.
Union Grievance The Union may initiate a grievance if the grievance involves a group of employees and if the grievance is submitted in writing within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date the employees were or should have been aware that the grievance existed.
Union Grievances 4/7/1 Union officers and stewards who are members of the bargaining unit shall have the right to file a grievance when any provision of this Agreement has been violated or when the Employer interpretation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement leads to a controversy with the Union over application of the terms or provisions of this Agreement.
Union Buttons The parties agree that all Union employees are entitled to wear a Union button while on duty, provided that the manner in which the button is worn shall not detract from the style of the uniform or costume normally worn by the employee.
