Common use of Union Officers and Committee Members Clause in Contracts

Union Officers and Committee Members. Union officers and members of joint Union Employer committees specified in this Agreement, shall be entitled to leave their work during their normal working hours in order to carry out their functions under this Agreement. Permission to leave work during their normal working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on the specified committees, shall be considered as time worked.

All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on withheld by the specified committees, shall be considered as time workedemployer.

Union officers and committee members of joint Union Employer committees specified in this Agreement, shall be entitled to leave their work during their normal working hours in order to carry out their negotiation’s functions under this Agreement(up to a maximum of 2 employees and the local President for a maximum of 40 hours paid per employee). Permission to leave work during their normal working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate direct supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on the specified committees, shall be considered as time worked.

Union Officers and Committee Members. Union officers Officers and committee members of joint Union Employer committees specified in this Agreement, shall be entitled upon permission first being obtained from their immediate supervisor, to leave their work during their normal working hours in order to carry out their functions under this Agreement, including, but not limited to, the investigation and processing of grievances, attendance at meetings with the Employer, and participation in negotiations and arbitration. Permission to leave work during their normal working hours for such purposes shall first be obtained from the immediate supervisor. Such permission shall not be unreasonably withheld. All time spent in performing such Union duties, including work performed on the specified committees, shall be considered as time workedheld.
