Unlawful Use of Service. Services, facilities or unbundled elements provided by GTE pursuant to this Agreement shall not be used by NEN or its end-users for any purpose in violation of law. NEN, and not GTE, shall be responsible to ensure that NEN and its end-users use of services, facilities or unbundled elements provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. GTE may refuse to furnish service to NEN or disconnect particular services, facilities or unbundled elements provided under this Agreement to NEN or, as appropriate, NEN's end-user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service, facilities or unbundled elements is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to NEN, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of NEN and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.
Unlawful Use of Service. Services provided by VERIZON pursuant to this Agreement shall not be used by SPRINT or its customers for any purpose in violation of law. SPRINT, and not VERIZON, shall be responsible to ensure that SPRINT and its customers’ use of services provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. VERIZON may refuse to furnish service to SPRINT or disconnect particular services provided under this Agreement to SPRINT or, as appropriate, SPRINT's customer when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service is prohibited by law or (ii) VERIZON is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by VERIZON is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to SPRINT, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to VERIZON the written finding of a court, then upon request of SPRINT and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, VERIZON shall promptly restore such service.

GTE may refuse to furnish service to CCI or disconnect particular services provided under this Agreement to CCI or, as appropriate, CCI's customer when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to CCI, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of CCI and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.

GTE may refuse to furnish service to PHNLK or disconnect particular services provided under this Agreement to PHNLK or, as appropriate, PHNLK's end user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to PHNLK, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of PHNLK and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.

TELECONEX, and not GTE, shall be responsible to ensure that TELECONEX and its end users use of services provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. GTE may refuse to furnish service to TELECONEX or disconnect particular services provided under this Agreement to TELECONEX or, as appropriate, TELECONEX's end user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to TELECONEX, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of TELECONEX and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.

Each Party shall be responsible to ensure that their use of service and their end-users use of services, facilities or unbundled elements provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. Either Party may refuse to furnish service to the other Party or disconnect particular services, facilities or unbundled elements provided under this Agreement, as appropriate, when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service, facilities or unbundled elements is prohibited by law or (ii) the Party providing service is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to other Party as provided for under this Agreement, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to the disconnecting Party the written finding of a court, then upon request of the disconnected Party, and its agreement to pay restoration of service charges and other applicable service charges, the disconnecting Party shall promptly restore such service.

US Dial Tone, and not GTE, shall be responsible to ensure that US Dial Tone and its end- users use of services, facilities or unbundled elements provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. GTE may refuse to furnish service to US Dial Tone or disconnect particular services, facilities or unbundled elements provided under this Agreement to US Dial Tone or, as appropriate, US Dial Tone's end-user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service, facilities or unbundled elements is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to US Dial Tone, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of US Dial Tone and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.

SUNTEL, and not GTE, shall be responsible to ensure that SUNTEL and its end users’ use of services provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. GTE may refuse to furnish service to SUNTEL or disconnect particular services provided under this Agreement to SUNTEL or, as appropriate, SUNTEL's end user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service is prohibited by law or (ii) GTE is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by GTE is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to SUNTEL, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to GTE the written finding of a court, then upon request of SUNTEL and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, GTE shall promptly restore such service.
Unlawful Use of Service. Services, facilities or unbundled elements provided by CenturyTel pursuant to this Agreement shall not be used by Sprint or its end-users for any purpose in violation of law. Sprint, and not CenturyTel, shall be responsible to ensure that Sprint and its end-users use of services, facilities or unbundled elements provided hereunder comply at all times with all applicable laws. CenturyTel may refuse to furnish service to Sprint or disconnect particular services, facilities or unbundled elements provided under this Agreement to Sprint or, as appropriate, Sprint's end-user when (i) an order is issued by a court of competent jurisdiction finding that probable cause exists to believe that the use made or to be made of the service, facilities or unbundled elements is prohibited by law or (ii) CenturyTel is notified in writing by a law enforcement agency acting within its jurisdiction that any facility furnished by CenturyTel is being used or will be used for the purpose of transmitting or receiving gambling information in interstate or foreign commerce in violation of law. Termination of service shall take place after reasonable notice is provided to Sprint, or as ordered by the court. If facilities have been physically disconnected by law enforcement officials at the premises where located, and if there is not presented to CenturyTel the written finding of a court, then upon request of Sprint and agreement to pay restoral of service charges and other applicable service charges, CenturyTel shall promptly restore such service.
