This leave may commence up to seventeen (17) weeks prior to the expected date of deliv- erydelivery. In addition, as per E.I., birth mothers are entitled to an additional thirty-fivethirty-­‐ five (35) weeks of unpaid parental leave, and other eligible parents an additional thirty-­‐seven (37) weeks of unpaid leave. This leave must commence within fifty-­‐two (52) weeks of the birth or adoption.
