Unprotected Industrial Action. (12.1) The employee agrees not to incite or participate in any form of unprotected industrial action, including, but not limited to, strikes, work stoppages, pickets, protests, marches, go slows, etc; where such action is not in accordance with the relevant provisions in the Labour Relations Act, as amended. The employee acknowledges that any such unprotected industrial action will constitute a serious breach of contract.

Unprotected Industrial Action. 12.8.1 Should any employee promote or participate in industrial action not in compliance with the provisions of this Agreement, or the provisions of the Legislation, the Trade Unions and/or Site / Shop Stewards shall take all necessary steps within 12 hours from the commencement of the unprotected industrial action, to persuade employees to cease such action and to observe their conditions of employment.
Unprotected Industrial Action. The Employee agrees not to take part in or to incite any other person to participate in any unprotected industrial action, which may adversely affect any of the Company and/or Client Company’s operations or employees. Such industrial action may include strikes, go-slows, work to rule, boycotts, stay-aways or any other similar action that may obstruct, prevent or retard the work of the Company and/or Client Company’s operations or employees. Consent in Terms of the Interceptions Act The Employee consents to the Company and/or Client Company monitoring and intercepting the telecommunication systems of the Company and/or Client Company used by the Employee and this consent constitutes consent in terms of the relevant provisions in the Interceptions Act.
Unprotected Industrial Action. 4.7.1 Should any Party promote or participate in industrial action not in compliance with provisions of this Agreement, the LRA, Industry Agreements and the PA, that Parties shall immediately stop such promotion and participation and shall take all necessary steps to persuade its constituents to cease such action and to comply with their conditions of employment. The Parties shall not engage in industrial action until they have complied with the Protection and Safeguarding of the work place procedure as required by the SPF and EPMT.

  • Violence in the Workplace (a) The parties agree that violence shall be defined as any incident in which an employee is abused, threatened or assaulted while performing his or her work. The parties agree it includes the application of force, threats with or without weapons and severe verbal abuse. The parties agree that such incidents will not be condoned. Any employee who believes he/she has been subjected to such incident shall report this to a supervisor who will make every reasonable effort to rectify the situation. For purposes of sub-article (a) only, employees as referred to herein shall mean all employees of the Employer notwithstanding Article 2.12.

  • Hazardous Substance Hazardous Substance" shall mean any chemical, substance, material, or waste, including without limitation asbestos, PCBs and formaldehyde, that is defined, classified, listed, or designated as hazardous, toxic, or radioactive, or by other similar term, by any federal, state, or local environmental statute, regulation, rule, order, or ordinance presently in effect.

  • Convicted, Discriminatory, Antitrust Violator, and Suspended Vendor Lists In accordance with sections 287.133, 287.134, and 287.137, F.S., the Contractor is hereby informed of the provisions of sections 287.133(2)(a), 287.134(2)(a), and 287.137(2)(a), F.S. For purposes of this Contract, a person or affiliate who is on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List may not perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under the Contract. The Contractor must notify the Department if it or any of its suppliers, subcontractors, or consultants have been placed on the Convicted Vendor List, the Discriminatory Vendor List, or the Antitrust Violator Vendor List during the term of the Contract. In accordance with section 287.1351, F.S., a vendor placed on the Suspended Vendor List may not enter into or renew a contract to provide any goods or services to an agency after its placement on the Suspended Vendor List. A firm or individual placed on the Suspended Vendor List pursuant to section 287.1351, F.S., the Convicted Vendor List pursuant to section 287.133, F.S., the Antitrust Violator Vendor List pursuant to section 287.137, F.S., or the Discriminatory Vendor List pursuant to section 287.134, F.S., is immediately disqualified from Contract eligibility.

  • Controlled Substance Bodily injury" or "property damage" arising out of the use, sale, manufacture, delivery, transfer or possession by any person of a Controlled Substance as defined by the Federal Food and Drug Law at 21 U.S.C.A. Sections 811 and 812. Controlled Substances include but are not limited to cocaine, LSD, marijuana and all nar- cotic drugs. However, this exclusion does not apply to the legitimate use of prescription drugs by a person following the orders of a licensed physician.

  • Toxic or Hazardous Substance Any substance designated or defined as toxic or hazardous under any “Environmental Law” or that poses a risk to human health or safety, or the environment, and products and materials containing such substance. “

  • Controlled Substances Has current controlled substances registrations issued by the State of Colorado and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, which registrations have not been surrendered, suspended, revoked or restricted in any manner;

  • 342 Hazardous Substances Purchaser shall notify the National Response Center and Contracting Officer of all releases of reportable quantities of hazardous substances on or in the vicinity of Sale Area that are caused by Purchaser’s employees, agents, contractors, Subcontractors, or their employees or agents, directly or indirectly, as a result of Purchaser’s Operations, in accordance with 40 CFR 302.

  • Dangerous Materials Tenant shall not keep or have on the Premises any article or thing of a dangerous, flammable, or explosive character that might substantially increase the danger of fire on the Premises, or that might be considered hazardous by a responsible insurance company, unless the prior written consent of Landlord is obtained and proof of adequate insurance protection is provided by Tenant to Landlord.

  • Prohibition Against Selecting and Installing Products Containing Hazardous Materials The Contractor shall not select, install or otherwise incorporate any products or materials containing Hazardous Materials within the boundaries of the Site. Should the Contractor or any Subcontractors have knowledge that, or believe that, an item, component, material, substance, or accessory within a product or assembly selected by the Contractor or any Subcontractor may contain Hazardous Materials it is the Contractor’s responsibility to secure a written certification from the manufacturer of any suspected material which identifies the specific Hazardous Material(s) contained, together with the Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for such materials which shall be submitted to the Owner and Design Professional.

  • Explosives Explosives or other highly flammable substances shall not be stored on Railroad's property without the prior written approval of Railroad.
