Common use of Unsafe Assignments Clause in Contracts

Unsafe Assignments. An employee who is given an assignment that he or she reasonably believes will be detrimental to his or her health shall immediately notify his or her supervisor. The employee will not be required to perform the alleged unsafe assignment until the matter has been reviewed by a shop xxxxxxx and the employee’s supervisor or a higher level supervisor. If such a review does not resolve the matter, it may be referred to the Campus Safety Inspector, the Campus Safety Officer or the Department of Labor and Industries for resolution.
