Common use of Unused Vacation Days Clause in Contracts

Unused Vacation Days. 1. An employee who resigns, or is subject of a reduction in force, or is discharged, or retires, or who is transferred to a non-unit position shall receive cash payment for any unused vacation days accumulated under the terms of A. 2. above. 2. An employee who dies shall have payment for his unused vacation days given to his estate. 3. For the purposes of payment under B. 1. and 2. above, employees shall be paid for each eligible accumulated vacation day at the rate of 1/240th of the annual salary.
