U.S. Agency for International Development. The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent agency of the U.S. Federal government. USAID is responsible for managing foreign aid policies and assistance programs, and it is one of the biggest aid agencies in the world. It works on five priorities: - Disaster relief; - Poverty relief; - Technical cooperation on global issues, including the environment; - U.S. bilateral interests; - Socioeconomic development. The collaboration between the U.S. and the kingdom of Morocco was established in 1957, with the objective to cooperate and to make real and substantial improvements in the lives of Moroccan citizens. Nowadays, USAID is involved in several projects in the country, on many different topics, including water management and agricultural growth.

U.S. Agency for International Development. USAID has supported a number programs in the education sector which led to the construction of classrooms, staff houses and latrines, in addition to a program entitled Strategies for Advancing Girls’ Education. USAID has also undertaken projects in community water and sanitation, including provision of hygiene education. The Rural Development Project will continue to advance the objectives of these USAID programs while also greatly expanding on them to complement the Agriculture Project.

MCC coordinated closely with USAID staff in determining the feasibility of the Productive Development Project and will continue such collaboration during Compact implementation, particularly in connection with USAID’s work in the following four strategic areas:

  • VISIBILITY OF FUNDING FROM THE OFFICIAL DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE Unless the SAIDC requests or agrees otherwise, any communication or publication made by the Final Beneficiary that relates to the action, including at conferences, seminars or in any information or promotional materials (such as brochures, leaflets, posters, presentations in electronic form, etc.), including tangible assets acquired from the project must: (a) indicate that the action has received funding from the Official Development Assistance, SlovakAid and (b) display the SlovakAid logo. When displayed in association with another logo, the SlovakAid logo must have appropriate prominence. The obligation to display the SlovakAid logo does not confer on the Final Beneficiary a right of exclusive use. The Final Beneficiary may not appropriate the SlovakAid logo or any similar trademark or logo, either by registration or by any other means. For the purposes of the first, second and third subparagraphs and under the conditions specified therein, the Final Beneficiary may use the SlovakAid logo without first obtaining permission from the SAIDC.

  • Limited Agency (a) If the Access Holder is not also the Operator for a Path Usage, the Access Holder appoints each nominated Operator, as its agent for the following purposes:

  • International Olympic Committee; International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement As instructed from time to time by ICANN, the names (including their IDN variants, where applicable) relating to the International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement listed at xxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xxx/en/resources/registries/reserved shall be withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator at the second level within the TLD. Additional International Olympic Committee, International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement names (including their IDN variants) may be added to the list upon ten (10) calendar days notice from ICANN to Registry Operator. Such names may not be activated in the DNS, and may not be released for registration to any person or entity other than Registry Operator. Upon conclusion of Registry Operator’s designation as operator of the registry for the TLD, all such names withheld from registration or allocated to Registry Operator shall be transferred as specified by ICANN. Registry Operator may self-­‐allocate and renew such names without use of an ICANN accredited registrar, which will not be considered Transactions for purposes of Section 6.1 of the Agreement.
