USE OF FIRE HYDRANTS. 7.08 (1) Except for grading, pressure testing, disinfecting and flushing of water mains, the Developer and/or his Contractor(s) shall not use fire hydrant(s) connected to a closed zone distribution system (i.e. no reservoir on the system) to obtain water for construction purposes unless written permission has first been secured and received from the Director, Water Services.

USE OF FIRE HYDRANTS. The Prime Contractor, Subcontractors, and any other person working on the Project shall not open, turn off, interfere with, attach any pipe or hose to, or connect anything with any fire hydrant, stop valve, or stop cock, or tap any water main belonging to the Owner, unless duly authorized to do so by the Denton Water Utilities Department in accordance with the Denton City Code.
USE OF FIRE HYDRANTS. 3.1 The Water Company agrees to make available its water resources, pipelines, and hydrants to the Town for use in fire suppression training and in responding to fire emergencies at no charge by the Water Company to the Town.

The Contractor can obtain non-potable water in bulk at no charge at the Buffalo Grove Public Works Department, 00 Xxxxx Xxxx. The Contractor shall provide a water truck or containment and driver to obtain and transport the water. All water obtained from the Village shall be used for this project only. If deemed necessary, the Village reserves the right to restrict or refuse the use of Village water. The Contractor will be responsible for executing the required paperwork and follow all requirements of the Village. If it is determined that the Contractor or its subcontractors operate or use a Village fire hydrant, a minimum monetary penalty of $1,000 per occurrence that will be imposed.
USE OF FIRE HYDRANTS. No person or persons, other than those designated and authorized by the Commission or Management of the System shall open any fire hydrant, attempt to draw water from it or in any manner damage or tamper with it. Any violation of this regulation will be prosecuted according to law. The use of water for temporary construction purposes from a public fire hydrant may be approved by the System’s Engineering Office, upon proper application. Charges for the used of such hydrants and for the water used (measured or estimated) shall be as fixed by the Commission. The users of such hydrants shall be liable for any damages to hydrants or other System facilities as a result of such usage.

The Town agrees to notify the Water Company of any emergency requiring the use of hydrants as soon as practicable during the emergency or immediately thereafter.
