Common use of USE OF PLH Clause in Contracts

USE OF PLH. 13 1. PLH is accumulated from the first hour of work and may be taken after a 14 nurse has completed the first 90 days of employment. At no time may 15 PLH and EIH be combined to cover more than scheduled hours. PLH and 16 EIH may not be taken under any circumstances until they have been 17 accrued. Nurses may not take scheduled time off without pay if they are 18 eligible and have accruals in their banks. The exceptions are as follows:
