Use of Technology Resources. The use of technology resources must be for educational and/or research purposes consistent with the mission, goals, and objectives of the Xxxxxx School District, along with state and federal regulations. In compliance with federal law, the school district shall make reasonable effort to restrict access to inappropriate materials and shall monitor the online activities of the end users.

Use of Technology Resources. The use of RSA’s technology resources is a privilege, not a right. The privilege of using the technology resources provided by RSA is not transferable or extendible by students to people or groups outside the district and terminates when a student is no longer enrolled at RSA. This policy is provided to make all users aware of the responsibilities associated with efficient, ethical, and lawful use of technology resources. If a person violates any of the User Terms and Conditions named in this policy, privileges may be terminated, access to the school district technology resources may be denied, and the appropriate disciplinary action shall be applied. RSA’s Code of Conduct shall be applied to student infractions.
Use of Technology Resources. The district reserves the right to monitor all activity on this electronic network. Students will indemnify the district for any damage that is caused by students' inappropriate use of the network. Students are expected to follow the same rules, good manners and common sense guidelines that are used with other daily school activities as well as the law in the use of the Central R-3 School District technology resources.  No one is permitted to connect to the District’s network via any type of wireless device without faculty or staff permission and direct supervision.  Purchases being made. The District will install all educational applications needed to support the student’s current curriculum. The District will not be held accountable for any unauthorized purchases made from the student’s individual accounts. Nor should any expectations be made that transference of purchased items will be made upon the deletion of student’s xxxxxxxx0.xxx Google account.

In compliance with federal law, the school shall make reasonable effort to restrict access to inappropriate materials and shall monitor the online activities of the end users while on campus. Consistent with all Holy Cross policies and procedures off-campus compliance with these regulations are expected to be followed by the user and monitored by parents/guardians.

  • Technology Access Contractor expressly acknowledges that state funds may not be expended in connection with the purchase of an automated information system unless that system meets certain statutory requirements relating to accessibility by persons with visual impairments. Accordingly, Contractor represents and warrants to System Agency that the technology provided to System Agency for purchase (if applicable under this Contract or any related Solicitation) is capable, either by virtue of features included within the technology or because it is readily adaptable by use with other technology, of: • providing equivalent access for effective use by both visual and non-visual means; • presenting information, including prompts used for interactive communications, in formats intended for non-visual use; and • being integrated into networks for obtaining, retrieving, and disseminating information used by individuals who are not blind or visually impaired. For purposes of this Section, the phrase “equivalent access” means a substantially similar ability to communicate with or make use of the technology, either directly by features incorporated within the technology or by other reasonable means such as assistive devices or services which would constitute reasonable accommodations under the Americans With Disabilities Act or similar state or federal laws. Examples of methods by which equivalent access may be provided include, but are not limited to, keyboard alternatives to mouse commands and other means of navigating graphical displays, and customizable display appearance. In accordance with Section 2157.005 of the Texas Government Code, the Technology Access Clause contract provision remains in effect for any contract entered into before September 1, 2006.
