Use of Time (2019). The scheduling of personal leave days shall be by mutual agreement between the employee and the employee's supervisor. Personal leave time must be requested, and approved, in advance of leave actually taken.

Calculation of Time For the purposes of this Agreement, “days” refers to calendar days unless otherwise specified.
Misuse of TINs If the requester discloses or uses TINs in violation of federal law, the requester may be subject to civil and criminal penalties. Use of PTO 10.5.1 PTO may be used as soon as it is earned, up to the amount accrued in the pay period immediately preceding the time off, in accordance with the provisions of this Article. PTO may not be used in advance of its accrual, on regularly scheduled days off, or to claim pay for time lost due to tardiness.
Extension of Time Limits The time limits referred to in this Article may be extended by mutual agreement of the parties in writing.
Computation of Time In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by procedures herein, the date of the act, event, or default for which the designated period of time begins to run shall not be included. The last day of the period so computed shall be counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday, in which event the period runs until the end of the next day which is not a Saturday, a Sunday, or a legal holiday.
Extension of Time If the Executive shall be in violation of any provision of this Article 6, then each time limitation set forth in this Article 6 shall be extended for a period of time equal to the period of time during which such violation or violations occur. If the Company seeks injunctive relief from such violation in any court, then the covenants set forth in this Article 6 shall be extended for a period of time equal to the pendency of such proceeding including all appeals by the Executive.
Waiver of Time Limits The time limits prescribed above may be extended by mutual agreement in writing between the Union and the Employer.
Calculation of Time Periods Unless otherwise specified, in computing any period of time described in this Agreement, the day of the act or event after which the designated period of time begins to run is not to be included and the last day of the period so computed is to be included, unless such last day is a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday under the laws of the State in which the Property is located, in which event the period shall run until the end of the next day which is neither a Saturday, Sunday or legal holiday. The final day of any such period shall be deemed to end at 5 p.m., local time.
Use of Paid Leave With the approval of the Appointing Authority, employees will be allowed to utilize accrued sick leave, personal holiday or vacation leave when on authorized leave without pay due to illness or injury.
