Vacation Accrual Rate and Longevity Increase. The anniversary date for vacation accrual rate increases and longevity increases is effective the first of the month following a unit member’s first date of hire, unless the date of hire is the first of the month in which case it will be the same date. The vacation accrual rate and longevity increase anniversary date will be the date measured to determine both the rate a unit member accrues vacation and when a unit member shall receive a longevity increase.
