Common use of Vacation Bonus Clause in Contracts

Vacation Bonus. (a) At the start of each new taxation year a regular employee shall receive a vacation bonus equal to four percent of basic salary received in the preceding taxation year. At the BCGEU's discretion, employees may be allowed to take paid time off equivalent to four percent of basic salary received in the preceding taxation year in lieu of the four percent vacation bonus. The vacation bonus shall be payable on the first pay date following January 31st.
