Vacation Pay and Credits. An employee who is receiving an EPA who has unused vacation time for which he has qualified by virtue of having performed the required number of days of compensated service will not be deprived of such unused vacation time but vacation pay will be paid in lieu of the EPA for the vacation period. An employee receiving an EPA who returns to active service will, while continued in active service, be credited for with the days on which the EPA was received as compensated service for vacation purposes and for purposes of determining length of service under Article II, Section 3(a) above.
