VEHICLE USAGE. Any regular employee who is required by their supervisor to use his/her personal car to conduct District business shall be compensated for wear and tear on the vehicle at the approved rate per mile established by the Internal Revenue Service. The employee shall be required to carry the minimum liability insurance specified by statute. Requests for mileage reimbursement must be submitted quarterly. Mileage driven between July 1 and September 30 must be submitted for reimbursement by October 15. Mileage driven between October 1 and December 31 must be submitted for reimbursement by January 15. Mileage driven between January 1 and March 31 must be submitted for reimbursement by April 15. Mileage driven between April 1 and June 30 must be submitted for reimbursement by July 15.
