Emergency Call Out. A call‐out shall occur when supervisory personnel specifically require an employee to perform emergency work outside the regular scheduled hours. All employees shall be paid two (2) times the regular rate of pay for all time worked during a call‐out for a minimum of two (2) hours up to a maximum of three (3) hours. All additional time worked over the three (3) hours emergency call‐out shall be at the regular overtime rate of pay of the employee. Anytime an employee on standby is monitoring the work of others they shall receive emergency call‐out pay.
Emergency Call Out. 1. Call out pay is provided to compensate off duty employees required to return to work on an unscheduled basis after completing a regularly assigned shift. Such employees shall be paid for the actual time worked with a minimum guarantee of three (3) hours pay. Should an employee receive a further assignment(s) while on Emergency call out, and in the course of completing such additional assignment(s) works beyond three (3) hours in total, they shall be paid for the actual time worked (at the overtime rate of pay, if applicable). In the context of emergency call-out only, actual time worked starts at the time of notice and ends when the employee would reasonably be expected to return home.
2. Any employee who is: (a) required to report to work within two (2) hours of his/her regularly scheduled starting time; (b) on duty and instructed and assigned to return to work; or (c) required to continue after completion of his/her scheduled shift; shall be ineligible for the call-out pay minimum described above, but eligible for compensation for the actual hours worked (at the overtime rate, if applicable).
Emergency Call Out. In the event the employee has left the project and is called back to perform overtime work after his regular shift, or on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays, such employee shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the applicable overtime rate plus fringes and applicable travel and/or zone pay. All call-out work over four (4) hours shall be paid for actual time worked but at no time will an employee be required to work more than five (5) hours without an opportunity to eat lunch (lunch period provision to apply).
Emergency Call Out. Emergency call-out shall be calculated at not less than two (2) hours time paid at overtime rates as indicated in Article 19.01 of this Agreement. Call out shall be defined as any time an employee is called out to work during their scheduled time off.
Emergency Call Out. 15.01 An employee called out to do authorized emergency work outside normal working hours shall be paid a minimum of three (3) hours pay at his classification rate or at the appropriate overtime rate for actual hours worked, whichever is the greater.
15.02 The time for the call-out will commence when an employee leaves his home and will finish when the employee returns to his home. The time of leaving and returning from the home will be specified by the times recorded and logged by the Operator or Answering Service Operator and it is the employees responsibility to ensure that these times are accurately reported to the Operator.
15.03 All calls received by employees on call-out within one and one half (1.5) hours of the previous call will be considered one (1) call-out.
15.04 Continuous work after 1600 hours is not considered call-out. Any call-out occurring one and one half (1.5) hours or less before the regular starting time shall be deemed as an extension of the employees regular hours and not considered a call-out.
Emergency Call Out. When an employee is called out for emergency work that needs immediate attention and is not foreseeable.
Emergency Call Out. In the event an employee has left the project and is called back to perform overtime work after his shift, or on Saturday, Sunday or holidays, such employee shall be paid a minimum of four (4) hours at the applicable overtime rate, applicable allowances and fringe benefits. Emergency Call Out. 7.10.1 Employees recognise they may be required to attend work in the event of an emergency (eg natural disaster). No reasonable request to attend to such an occasion will be refused. Callouts of this nature will be paid at overtime rates for a minimum of four (4) hours from the time an employee is notified they are required to attend such an emergency.
Emergency Call Out a. A "Call-out" is defined as that occasion when an employee is required to leave from and return to, except for meals, his/her place of residence outside the Firehall, and outside the hours of his/her working shift in order to perform work for the Municipality that is directly related to a recorded incident. Previously Scheduled Overtime shall not constitute a call-out.
b. Call-out" time shall be paid at overtime rates of pay as follows:
(1) minimum of THREE (3) hours pay at TWO (2) times his regular basic hourly rate; and
(2) all hours thereafter, at ONE AND ONE-HALF (1 1/2) times his basic hourly rate).
Emergency Call Out. In any case when an employee is called out on an emergency, he or she shall receive a minimum of three (3) hours pay at overtime rates for such call out. If such call out emergency work occurs within three (3) hours before starting time of the employee's normal shift, he or she shall be paid one and one-half (12) times their normal rate for the first three (3) hours actually worked that day, and straight time thereafter until the normal hours of the said shift have been completed.
