Violence Policies and Procedures. In compliance with The Occupational Health and Safety Act, the Employer will ensure a policy is developed, in consultation with the Occupational Health and Safety Committee, to address the prevention of violence, the management of violent situations, to reduce the causal factors of violence and to provide support to employees who have faced violence. The policy and procedure(s) shall be part of the Employer health and safety program and written copies shall be posted or made available in policy manuals in a place accessible to all employees.
