Voluntary Accident Insurance optional Each employee will have the option to purchase and participate in Voluntary Accident Insurance. Minimum group employee participation may be required by the carrier in order to offer the coverage. Carrier selection shall remain the prerogative of the District and coverage provisions may vary, but will be comparable to any previous carriers. The Association will have prior discussion before any carrier change.

  • Accident Insurance It is highly recommended that either the Sending Institution or the Receiving Organisation/Enterprise provide insurance coverage to the trainee, and fill in the information in Table B or C accordingly. The trainee must be covered at least by an accident insurance (damages caused to the trainee at the workplace) and by a liability insurance (damages caused by the trainee at the workplace).

  • Personal Accident Insurance The Board will, upon request, deduct the monthly premium from the salaries of those employees who participate in Board approved Personal Accident Insurance protection.

  • Health and Accident Insurance (1) For Exchange Visitors traveling to the United States, the recipient must enroll Exchange Visitors in health and accident insurance coverage that meets or exceeds Department of State and USAID minimum coverage requirements as set forth in 22 CFR 62.14 and ADS 253.3.6.2. The requirements may be obtained from the Agreement Officer’s Representative.

  • Retirement Insurance A teacher retiring from the District and under the provisions of Teachers’ Retirement Association (TRA) is eligible to continue to participate in group insurance programs (health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, supplemental life insurance) as permitted under the insurance policy provisions provided the teacher pay the entire premium for such group insurance programs commencing with the beginning of the retirement (see District Website, Human Resources for specific coverage available). The teacher shall be responsible for paying the monthly premium amounts in advance and on such dates as determined by the District/third party administrator. The right to continue participation in such group insurance programs will discontinue upon the failure of the teacher to pay the premiums to the District/third party administrator, or the expiration of insurance availability under the insurance policy provisions. Since long-term disability insurance coverage replaces salary, and a retiree receives no salary, long-term disability insurance coverage is not available.

  • Sickness and Accident Insurance During the term of this Agreement, the Employer shall pay the required premiums for each employee for sickness and accident insurance which will pay Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) per week for a period of fifty-two (52) weeks. This benefit shall be payable from the thirty-first (31st) day of disability due to illness or injury.

  • Life Insurance No portion of your IRA may be invested in life insurance contracts.

  • Term Life Insurance The Employer will maintain and make available to full-time and part-time employees, the current term life insurance plan as set forth in the document "Summary of Health Benefits, Maryland State Employees."
