Common use of VOLUNTARY WORK FURLOUGH PROGRAM Clause in Contracts

VOLUNTARY WORK FURLOUGH PROGRAM. Pursuant to the Furlough/Reduced Work Week Policy, the City may establish for full-time career employees a voluntary work furlough/reduced work week consisting of a full day of unpaid leave on a variable schedule or a work schedule which is modified on a regular fixed basis to less than forty (40) hours per week. Employees shall apply for participation in the program pursuant to the conditions set forth in the rules and procedures governing this Citywide program.
