W/MBE. The Subrecipient will use its best efforts to afford minority and women-owned business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this Agreement. As used in this Agreement, the term "minority and female business enterprise" means a business at least fifty-one percent (51%) owned and controlled by minority group members or women. For the purpose of this definition, "minority group members" are Afro-Americans, Spanish-speaking, Spanish surnamed or Spanish-heritage Americans, Asian-Americans, and American Indians. The Subrecipient may rely on written representations by Subrecipients regarding their status as minority and female business enterprises in lieu of an independent investigation.

W/MBE. Subrecipient will use its best efforts to afford minority and women-owned business enterprises the maximum practicable opportunity to participate in the performance of this Agreement in keeping with the principles as provided in President’s Executive Order 11625, as amended by Executive Order 12007 (Minority Business Enterprises); Executive Order 12432 (Minority Business Enterprise Development); and Executive Order 12138, as amended by Executive Order 12608 (Women’s Business Enterprise). As used in this Agreement, the term “minority and Women’s business enterprise” means a business at least fifty-one (51) percent owned and controlled by minority group members or women. For the purpose of this definition, “minority group members” are those groups of U.S. citizens found to be disadvantaged by the Small Business Administration pursuant to Section 8(d) of the Small Business Act. Subrecipient may rely on written representations by businesses regarding their status as minority and women business enterprises in lieu of an independent investigation.

  • Check Meters Developer, at its option and expense, may install and operate, on its premises and on its side of the Point of Interconnection, one or more check meters to check Connecting Transmission Owner’s meters. Such check meters shall be for check purposes only and shall not be used for the measurement of power flows for purposes of this Agreement, except as provided in Article 7.4 below. The check meters shall be subject at all reasonable times to inspection and examination by Connecting Transmission Owner or its designee. The installation, operation and maintenance thereof shall be performed entirely by Developer in accordance with Good Utility Practice.
