WAGE PROGRESSION SCALES AND MINIMUM RATES OF PAY. The following hourly wage progression scales shall apply to all part- time food employees: Newly hired part-time employees will after thirty (30) days . consecutive service be paid the applicable rate for such service. There­ after, provided they have at least four (4) months consecutfve service, said employees will advance to the next higher progression rate above their actual rate the first payroll week ending in October or April as the case may be, until they reach the maximum progression rate.
