WAGES AND CLASSIFICATION STRUCTURE. (1) The classification structure in this Agreement is set out below. Employees must be prepared to perform all tasks as required of their classification level or any lower level for which they have the required skills and competence provided that the intention of this provision is not to promote the xx-xxxxxxxx of classifications, but to recognise and make use of the full range of skills and competence held by the workforce. Employees covered by this Agreement shall be classified at a level as specified by this clause and Appendix 1 based on their skills, qualifications, experience, competency and training provided that the Company has the need for such skill and competence. Each Employee’s classification level will be specified in their letter of appointment. Employees may be required to carry out work either individually or as part of a work group. Employees are responsible for carrying out work in a safe manner and for the quality of their work. Employees at all levels shall carry out all duties which are:
