Walking and cycling to recreation. Walking and cycling to local services Mobility pattern of senior citizens and implementations based on the results of the analysis Analyse the most important walkways and cycle facilities in the district, with the assistance of older people to better understand their needs; analyse activities of older people in Andritz, compile attitudes and assessments of older people regarding the issue of walking and cycling in Andritz to raise awareness. The above mentioned analysis will be completed by an analysis of the quality of life in the district. Period of analysis: The analysis will be carried out during spring and summer 2010. Final results will be available in September 2010. Methodology for analysis: The analysis will be carried out using the following methodology: • Walking around with senior citizens (as part of the walking audit). • Questionnaire. • In-depth interviews with senior citizens: it is planned to interview at least 70 senior citizens. Based on the results of the analysis and on the demand and preferences of the target group, different activities will be planned and carried out. It can’t be decided which activities this will be but there are some ideas that will be proposed: • walking together in Andritz (as adventure and leisure activity); • cycling together in Andritz (as adventure and leisure activity); • joint shopping in the borough; • geo-caching (e.g. in teams of children / youngsters with grandparents); • Pedelec testing days. Materials: Maps / flyers / brochures of the borough indicating cycle routes, pleasant walking routes and points of interest (for leisure time activities but also shopping and services) will be produced. Pedometers / step counters and mobility diaries for self-analysis and evaluation will be distributed. Welcome packages for new members of the community Every new member of the community within the catchment area of the borough receives a welcome package containing relevant local information about supplies, recreation, adventure, culture, soft mobility (PT and bicycle information) and further information about municipal centres. Also included is either a voucher for public transport & coupons for shops in the neighbourhood or a pedometer. The package will also contain the option to receive a tailor-made personalised public- transport advice based on the address, the nearest bus / tram stop, a time-table and a suggestion for the trip to a target that is mentioned by the receiver (e.g. for the home to work trip).   • Cutting, Patching, and Fitting The Contractor shall do all cutting, patching, and fitting of the Work that may be required to make its several parts come together properly and fit.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services.   • Parking and Transportation ‌ The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the University may apply changes in transportation policy, including adjusting parking and U-Pass fees and criteria for assigning parking spots, to the bargaining unit without the obligation to bargain with the Union. The Union may raise issues and concerns about the University’s parking program at Joint Labor/Management Committee meetings or at ad hoc Labor Management Committee meetings. The Union shall have a standing seat on the University’s committee(s) that work on transportation and parking issues.

  • Sealing and Marking of Bids 21.1 The bidder shall seal the original and each copy of the bid in separate envelopes duly marking the envelopes “ORIGINAL” and “COPY”. The envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer separate envelope.

  • Local Control Center, Metering and Telemetry The NTO shall operate, pursuant to ISO Tariffs, ISO Procedures, Reliability Rules and all other applicable reliability rules, standards and criteria on a twenty-four (24) hour basis, a suitable local control center(s) with all equipment and facilities reasonably required for the ISO to exercise ISO Operational Control over NTO Transmission Facilities Under ISO Operational Control, and for the NTO to fulfill its responsibilities under this Agreement. Operation of the NYS Power System is a cooperative effort coordinated by the ISO control center in conjunction with local control centers and will require the exchange of all reasonably necessary information. The NTO shall provide the ISO with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (“SCADA”) information on facilities listed in Appendices A-1 and A-2 herein as well as on generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to the NTO’s transmission facilities pursuant to the ISO OATT. The NTO shall provide metering data for its transmission facilities to the ISO, unless other parties are authorized by the appropriate regulatory authority to provide metering data. The NTO shall collect and submit to the ISO billing quality metering data and any other information for its transmission facilities required by the ISO for billing purposes. The NTO shall provide to the ISO the telemetry and other operating data from generation and merchant transmission resources interconnected to its transmission facilities that the ISO requires for the operation of the NYS Power System. The NTO will establish and maintain a strict code of conduct to prevent such information from reaching any unauthorized person or entity.

  • Weighing and Scaling Costs Purchaser agrees to pay for all weighing costs for logs delivered regardless if logs are purchased on a weight or scale basis. In addition, Purchaser agrees to pay for all scaling costs for logs delivered on a scale basis. Purchaser also agrees to pay for all costs associated with the transmission and reporting of scale or weight data.
