Common use of Weather Emergency Clause in Contracts

Weather Emergency. A. In the event the College closes due to a weather emergency, employees will be credited with a full day's compensation. B. If an employee cannot report to work due to a weather emergency and the College has not been officially closed, the absence will be charged to accumulated vacation or personal leave. C. Announcements of weather emergency closings will be on specified radio stations or via telephone. The College will provide a list of radio stations to Unit Members.
