Wet Mopping. Thoroughly cleaning hard floor surfaces after sweeping or dust mopping, utilizing clean water and an all-purpose detergent solution (and disinfectant where required by the Contract specifications).

Wet Mopping. Floors must be damp mopped and buffed between regular waxing operations. Prepare the floor by sweeping to remove all visible dirt and debris. The floor area will then be damp mopped and machine buffed to a polished appearance with a high-speed buffer.
Wet Mopping. Thoroughly cleaning hard floor surfaces after sweeping or dust mopping, utilizing clean water and an all-purpose detergent solution and disinfectant where required. Services shall be listed per Contract as the County requires, per location.
Wet Mopping. Wet mopping is defined as the removal of built up dirt, soil, liquids or other foreign materials from a floor using a cotton or similar yarn type mop and sufficient neutral detergent and water solution or neutral disinfecting detergent and water solution. This will include rinsing if required or recommended by the detergent manufacturer. Standard: When properly completed a wet mopped floor will be free of all dirt, debris soil, liquids or other foreign material. It will present a uniform appearance free of streaks smudges, heel-marks or any other marks which can be reasonably removed through this cleaning method. All splash marks/spots on walls and furniture/fixtures must be removed or the proper completion of the wet mopping task. All items moved to accomplish this task will be returned to their original positions.
Wet Mopping. The floors shall be properly prepared, and thoroughly swept to remove visible dirt and debris; this includes removal of wads of gum, tar, and similar substances from the floor surface. On completion of the mopping and scrubbing, the floors shall be clean and free of dirt, water streaks, mop marks, string, etc. Floors shall be properly rinsed and dry mopped to represent an overall appearance of cleanliness. All surfaces shall be dry and corners and cracks clean after wet mopping or scrubbing.
Wet Mopping. As needed – Extreme care shall be used in all mopping to avoid splashing on walls or furniture. Moving water and other liquids over carpeted areas will be done in a manner to avoid spillage.
