WORK AT NIGHT. 7.5.1. If the Contractor is required to work at night in order to complete the work within the Time Schedule, the Contractor shall provide and maintain at his own cost sufficient lights to enable the work to proceed satisfactorily without danger. Approaches to the site also shall be sufficiently lighted by the Contractor. No extra payments will be made for night work. Prior intimation and approval should also be taken from Architect/Consultant.

WORK AT NIGHT. 13.1 Will Employees receive additional remuneration for working at night? For work performed between the hours of 7.00pm and midnight, a casual employee must be paid an additional $1.63 per hour or any part of an hour with a minimum daily payment of $2.45 and a maximum daily payment of three hours. For work performed between midnight and 7.00am, a casual employee must be paid an additional $2.32 per hour or part of an hour for such time worked within the said hours with a minimum payment of $2.45 and a maximum daily payment of three hours. An employee, other than a casual employee, who is required to work any of their ordinary hours between the hours of 7.00pm and midnight Monday to Friday inclusive will be paid an additional $1.63 per hour or any part of an hour for such time worked within the said hours, with a minimum payment of $2.45 for any one day. An employee, other than a casual employee, who is required to work any of their ordinary hours between midnight and 7.00am Monday to Friday inclusive will be paid an additional $2.32 per hour of part of an hour for such time worked within the said hours, with a minimum payment of $2.45 for any one day. Additional remuneration for working at night may be subject to a pay increase in line with the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard.
WORK AT NIGHT. An employee specifically directed or engaged to perform work that finishes after midnight and before 6am the following day will be paid a penalty loading of 25% in addition to their ordinary wage.

  • Work Area The specific work area and/or crew an employee reports to on a daily schedule. Work areas are generally smaller divisions of a larger Bid Area.

  • Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.

  • WORK CLOTHING 1. The State shall continue to furnish foul weather gear and work clothing, such as aprons, smocks, shop coats, lab coats, coveralls and boots to employees furnished such clothing in the past. The State shall be responsible for continuing to provide laundering of work clothing where such service is being provided as of the effective date of this Agreement.

  • WORK ACCESS The Association shall provide a current, written list of its Association Representatives to all heads of departments, offices, or bureaus represented herein and the CAO. The Association shall be responsible for keeping the list current. An Association Representative shall have access to department, office, or bureau facilities where Unit members are employed during regular working hours to assist employees covered under this MOU in addressing grievances when such Association assistance is requested by a grievant(s) or to investigate matters arising out of the application of the provisions of this MOU. The Association Representative shall request authorization for such visits by contacting the designated Management representative of the head of the office, department, or bureau. In the event immediate access cannot be authorized, the designated Management representative shall inform the Association Representative as to the earliest time when access can be granted. This Article shall not be construed as a limitation on the power of the head of a department, office, or bureau to restrict access to areas designated for security or confidential purposes.

  • Core Hours (1) The default core hours for employees on Maxiflex schedules will be the 3 middle days of the employee’s tour of duty from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., excluding a meal break.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.
