Common use of Work Boots Clause in Contracts

Work Boots. Employer shall provide up to one hundred dollars ($100) per year reimbursement upon receipt for the cost of protective work boots for part-time employees, one hundred and twenty five dollars ($125) for full-time employees requiring boots under Worksafe BC. The allotted amount per year for employees is applied to one pair of boots per calendar year. Work boots which are destroyed in the course of duties shall be replaced at the Employer's expense. If an employee does not purchase a pair of boots in a calendar year, they can carry over the boot allowance to the following calendar year and may purchase up to two pairs of boots.
