Common use of Work Day/Break Periods Clause in Contracts

Work Day/Break Periods. Employees shall be provided a duty-free lunch period of thirty (30) minutes and two (2) fifteen (15) minute breaks during each shift of seven and one half (7.5) hours or more, to be arranged with the approval of the supervisor. Employees working less than 7.5 hours per day but at least six (6) hours per day shall have one fifteen (15) minute break and be provided a thirty (30) minute duty free lunch.
