Work Environment Safety. The District and Association agree to work cooperatively to ensure a safe working environment. The State Legislature has also seen the need to increase security of school grounds by empowering school districts to act with serious consequences in cases of violent behavior by students. The District and Association agree that it is in the best interest of the vast majority involved that the District exercise its legal power to insure student and staff safety.
