Common use of Work in Two Classifications Clause in Contracts

Work in Two Classifications. An employee who is assigned to perform work in a higher rated classification shall receive the higher rate while performing such work. An employee who is required by the Employer to work in a lower rated classification shall be paid at their normal classification rate while performing such work, but if the employee chooses to work in a lower rated classification, the employee shall be paid at that rate for that classification while performing such work.
