Work on Statutory Holiday. If a Resident is scheduled to start work on a statutory holiday as identified in Article 11.01 and does work as scheduled, the Resident shall be paid double (2X) their normal rate and in addition will receive another day off with pay; except for Good Friday, Christmas Day and Labour Day when the remuneration shall be at the rate of double time and one-half (2.5) their normal rate, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

Work on Statutory Holiday. An employee required to work on such Statutory Holiday or day mutually agreed upon in lieu thereof, as aforesaid, shall receive, in addition to regular pay for that holiday, double his regular rate of pay for the time worked.
Work on Statutory Holiday. Any Employee required to work on a Statutory Holiday, in addition to his/her regular salary, shall be credited with one half (½) hours pay at straight time for each hour so worked. In the case of a shift exchange, it is the employee who works the holiday who is credited with one half (1/2) hours pay at straight time for each hour so worked. For the purpose of this section, the Statutory Holiday shall reflect the twenty-four (24) hour period from 00:01 hours to 23:59 hours inclusively. Hourly rate shall be calculated by dividing the annual salary by the hours worked in a year. Payment shall be made to the Employee within thirty (30) days of such holiday.
Work on Statutory Holiday. Casual employees who work on a statutory holiday shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) for each hour worked on the statutory holiday. No payment shall be made for the statutory holiday as outlined in clause 17.01, as this is covered by the twenty (20) percent in clause 33.02.

  • Statutory Holiday All time worked on such Statutory Holidays as are provided for in this Agreement shall be considered as overtime and shall be paid at two hundred percent (200%) of the employee's regular straight-time rate, or the employee may elect to be paid straight-time rates for the overtime hours and take an equal number of hours as time off.
