Work on the day before and after a. It is a condition for receiving the advance payment mentioned in subclause (2) above that the employee is working on the last normal working day before the weekday holiday. In the event of two consecutive weekday holidays, the employee must be working both on the day before and the day after the weekday holidays to be entitled to receive the advance payment for both days. If the employee is only working on the day before or on the day after the days in question, the advance payment is only made for one weekday holiday. The amounts not paid will remain on the weekday holiday account.

  • Loading on Annual Leave During a period of annual leave an employee will receive a loading calculated on the rate of wage prescribed by subclause 7.1.3. The loading shall be as follows:

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday‌ A team member who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday. The scheduling of the lieu day shall be in accordance with Appendix 4.

The World Bank shall promptly notify the Recipient of such later date.
