Fit for Work definition

Fit for Work means capable of safely and effectively carrying out one’s duties as assigned by a contract of employment or collective agreement.
Fit for Work means that an individual is in a state, physically, mentally and behaviourally, which enables the Contractor to perform assigned tasks competently and, in a manner, which does not compromise or threaten the safety or health of themselves or others.
Fit for Work means being able to perform assigned duties safely and effectively without any limitations due to the use and or after-effects of drugs and alcohol, or any other substance that can negatively impact being fit for work.

Fit for Work means that an Employee is in a state (physical, mental and emotional) which enables the Employee to perform assigned tasks competently and to established standards set by the Company, and in a manner which does not compromise or threaten the safety or health of themselves or others.
