Common use of WORK OUTSIDE OF CLASSIFICATION Clause in Contracts

WORK OUTSIDE OF CLASSIFICATION. A. All assigned work performed in a higher paid classification will be paid a minimum of two hours at the rate of the higher paid classification. When an Employee is assigned such work for more than two hours up to and including four hours, s/he will be paid at such rate for four hours. When an Employee is assigned such work for more than four hours, s/he will be paid at such rate for eight hours and will be paid at the overtime rate for such classification, if applicable, for time in excess of eight hours.

WORK OUTSIDE OF CLASSIFICATION. 25 A. All assigned work performed in a higher paid classification will be paid a 26 minimum of two hours at the rate of the higher paid classification. When an Employee is assigned 27 such work for more than two hours up to and including four hours, s/he will be paid at such rate for 28 four hours. When an Employee is assigned such work for more than four hours, s/he will be paid at 1 such rate for eight hours and will be paid at the overtime rate for such classification, if applicable, for 2 time in excess of eight hours.

When an Employee is assigned such work for more than four hours, s/he will be paid at 18 such rate for eight hours and will be paid at the overtime rate for such classification, if applicable, for 19 time in excess of eight hours.
