Common use of Workfare Clause in Contracts

Workfare. No permanent employees will lose employment with the Employer during the term of this agreement as a result of work being performed under the auspices of an Ontario Works (workfare) or similar program.

Workfare. No permanent employees will lose employment with the Employer during the term of this agreement as a result of work being performed under the auspices of an Ontario Works (workfare) or similar program. No contract, written or oral shall be entered into between the Board or any of its designated representatives, and employees covered by this Agreement on matters relative to hours of work, wages and working conditions, promotions, demotions, or any other conditions affecting the welfare of the employees in general.
