Working Beyond End of Shift. When the Employer requires employees to stay at work beyond the end of their scheduled shifts to ensure that operations are maintained, the Employer will pay such employees for the additional time worked.

Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost less than $100,000 equivalent per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $1,150,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation. The invitation shall include a detailed description of the works, including basic specifications, the required completion date, a basic form of agreement acceptable to the Association, and relevant drawings, where applicable. Teaching Staff Assigned to More Than One Building Each Educator who is assigned to more than one building will be evaluated by the appropriate administrator where the individual is assigned most of the time. The principal of each building in which the Educator serves must review and sign the evaluation, and may add written comments. In cases where there is no predominate assignment, the superintendent will determine who the primary evaluator will be.
CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Events Beyond Our Control If an Event Beyond Our Control occurs and prevents Us from performing any of Our obligations under this Contract to any extent, then We are not required to perform that obligation to the extent and for as long as We are prevented by that Event Beyond Our Control. WORKING FROM HOME 51.1. Subject to this clause, the Employer may consider the introduction of working from home arrangements.
