WORKPLACE DISCRIMINATION AND HARASSMENT. 8.01 The Company and the Union agree that there will be no discrimination, harassment, interference, restraint or coercion exercised or practised by either of them, or by any of their representatives, with respect to any employee because of his/her race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, family status, disability or conviction for which a pardon has been granted, or because of his/her membership or activities or lack of membership or activities, in the Union, as provided for in the applicable Federal legislation.
