What Harassment Is Not. Harassment is in no way to be construed as properly discharged supervisory responsibilities including the delegation of work assignments, the assessment of discipline or any conduct that does not undermine the dignity of the individual. Neither is this policy meant to inhibit free speech or interfere with normal social relations.

What Harassment Is Not. It is harassment when a supervisor disciplines Employees for poor performance or inappropriate behaviour. It is harassment when an individual feels they are treated differently strictly due to a personality conflict with their manager, as long as there is no incident involving humiliation, insults, intimidation or any other conduct that constitutes harassment listed below. A poisoned environment is based on only one person’s personal views. There must be facts to show that most people would see the comments or conduct resulting in unequal or unfair terms and conditions.

  • Harassment Sexual Harassment a. All employees have the right to work without personal harassment or sexual harassment.
