Evening Shift Differential A shift premium of two dollars and seventy-five cents ($2.75) per hour shall be paid:
Bona Fide Request (BFR) The process described in the UNE Attachment that prescribes the terms and conditions relating to a Party's request that the other Party provides a UNE that it is not otherwise required to provide under the terms of this Agreement.
Overtime Holidays Double time the regular rate for work on the following holiday(s). New Year's Day
Work Days The work day shall consist of an assigned shift within twenty-four (24) consecutive hours commencing at 12:01 a.m. Whenever practicable and consistent with program needs, employees shall work on five (5) consecutive working days separated by two (2) consecutive days off. Significant or major changes in methods of scheduling shall be first discussed with the Union before changes are made.
Overtime Hours Except as otherwise provided in this section, all hours worked in excess of the established work day, before or after an employee's regular scheduled shift, or on any regularly scheduled day off, shall be considered overtime. All paid vacation time, paid holidays, paid sick leave, compensatory time off, and paid leaves of absence shall be considered as "time worked" for purposes of this Article. Part-time employees whose established work day is less than eight (8) hours shall not be considered to be working overtime until having completed eight (8) hours of work.
Work Day The standard work day shall be eight (8) consecutive hours of work exclusive of a lunch period in a consecutive twenty-four (24) hour day.
Evening Shift The evening shift shall include all scheduled shifts where the majority of hours occur after 2:00 p.m.
Night Shift Differential 1. An employee who works an assigned night shift shall, in addition to his or her regular salary, be paid a night shift differential for each hour actually worked on the assigned night shift.
Per Diem 5.4.1. Per diem is paid when the tasks to be performed by an Expert, as stated in the Terms of Reference (Annex 2), are performed more than fifty (50) kilometres away from the Expert’s normal place of work.
