Rights of set-off or retention. The parties shall only be entitled to rights of set-off or retention to the extent that the claim in question is ready for decision, undisputed, acknowledged in text form by the other party in each case or has been finally determined by a court of law; this restriction shall not apply to synallagmatic, i.e., mutually interdependent claims.
