This product is manufactured primarily from solid wood and as wood is a natural product, prolonged weathering, in particular after long hot periods, may lead to the formation of dry cracks. These dry cracks are in no way a quality defect but a natural occurrence and, depending on the weather conditions, these cracks may close up again to a minimum. In addition, these dry cracks which appear along the grain of the wood have no effect on the stability and durability of the material. In other words, the static properties are unaffected. The product is made from natural timber, for which regular and adequate wood preservation measures are obligatory.
