Abandoned Compound definition

Abandoned Compound shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.1.
Abandoned Compound shall have the meaning given in Section 4.1.
Abandoned Compound means a Development Candidate which ZENECA subsequently ceases to develop or commercialize pursuant to Paragraph 3.1(b) or 3.3.

  • If after Enanta followed the procedure set forth in Section 11.2.2 for asserting a breach of contract and Xxxxxx does not cure its breach for failure to use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to Develop a Candidate or Commercialize a Product in any Major Market Country, then Enanta shall have the right, in its sole discretion upon ten (10) days written notice to Xxxxxx, to designate such Candidate or Product as a Abandoned Compound.

  • If Icagen so licenses a third party in accordance with the prior four sentences, Section 6.5 shall remain in effect as to the Abandoned Compound.

More Definitions of Abandoned Compound

Abandoned Compound or "ABANDONED COMPOUND SERIES" means a Compound or Compound Series identified by the research performed under this Agreement which: (i) has been selected in writing by a Party as suitable for further development but which the other Party has declined in writing to develop further; or (ii) which has been abandoned in writing by one or both Parties pursuant to Section 3.2.7.
Abandoned Compound means any (a) Abandoned Candidate/Development Compound (as defined in Section 9.1(c)) or (b) Abandoned Research/Lead Compound (as defined in Section 9.1(c)).
Abandoned Compound shall have the meaning as such term is defined in Clause 2.

Related to Abandoned Compound

  • Licensed Compound means (a) 3,4-Diaminopyridine, the chemical structure of which is set forth on Exhibit B-2; and (b) any derivatives, isomers, metabolites, prodrugs, acid forms, base forms, salt forms, or modified versions of such compound in (a).

  • Licensed Compounds means any EZH2 Compound(s) that is:

  • Collaboration Compound means any of the following: (a) FG-4592, (b) any HIF Compound (other than FG-4592) that is added to this Agreement pursuant to Section 3.6, and (c) any salts, esters, complexes, chelates, crystalline and amorphous morphic forms, pegylated forms, enantiomers (excluding regioisomers), prodrugs, solvates, metabolites and catabolites of any of the foregoing ((a) or (b)).

  • Back-Up Compound means, with reference to any particular Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate, a Compound which (a) has the same principal mode of action (i.e., Potentiator or Corrector) as that Development Candidate or Drug Product Candidate; and (b) was among the group of Compounds, identified by VERTEX as potential additional lead molecules having the same principal mode of action, from which the Development Candidate was selected.

  • Lead Compound means any compound of lead other than galena which, when treated in the manner described below, yields to an aqueous solution of hydrochloric acid a quantity soluble lead compound exceeding, when calculated as lead monoxide, five percent of the dry weight of the portion taken analysis.

  • Product Candidate means each of MYO-101, MYO-102, MYO-103, MYO-201 and MYO-301, as defined on Exhibit B, in each case in any form or formulation.

  • Collaboration Target means the Initial Collaboration Targets set forth on Exhibit F and any Additional Target or Substitute Target that is selected in accordance with Section 3.3 of this Agreement.

  • Collaboration Product means a pharmaceutical product containing or comprising Compound in any dosage form alone, or in combination with, one or more other pharmaceutically active ingredients, and any and all Improvements thereto.

  • Development Candidate means a Compound that meets the Development Candidate Criteria for the initiation of a Development Program for the treatment of CF, and which is the subject of a notice from Vertex to CFFT that Vertex intends to commence formal pre-clinical development of the Compound in the Field pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.1 hereof.

  • Covered Product The consumer product that You purchased concurrently with and is covered by this Agreement.

  • Exempt compound means the same as defined in Rule 2.

  • Hemp product means the same as that term is defined in § 3.2-4112.

  • Collaboration IP means Collaboration Know-How and Collaboration Patents.

  • Biosimilar Product means, with respect to a Licensed Product in any country, any biosimilar product sold by a Third Party not authorized by or on behalf of Celgene, its Affiliates or Sublicensees, (a) that is a biosimilar biological product, as defined in 21 USC 379j-51 (or any successor or replacement thereof), a similar biological medicinal product, as defined in Annex I to Directive 2001/83/EC (or any successor or replacement thereof), or any similar biosimilar or generic product under the Laws of any country or jurisdiction, or (b) regarding which Regulatory Approval is obtained by referencing Regulatory Data of such Licensed Product.

  • Biological product means a virus, therapeutic serum, toxin, antitoxin, vaccine, blood, blood component or derivative, allergenic product, protein other than a chemically synthesized polypeptide, or analogous product, or arsphenamine or any derivative of arsphenamine or any other trivalent organic arsenic compound, applicable to the prevention, treatment, or cure of a disease or condition of human beings.

  • Antibody means a molecule or a gene encoding such a molecule comprising or containing one or more immunoglobulin variable domains or parts of such domains or any existing or future fragments, variants, modifications or derivatives thereof.

  • Collaboration Patent Rights means Patent Rights claiming Collaboration Know-How.

  • Compounds means a small molecule HMT inhibitor.

  • Biological Samples means any physical samples obtained from Study Participants in accordance with the Protocol for the purposes of the Study.

  • Terminated Product has the meaning set forth in Section 18.3.4.2(v).

  • Product Technology means the Product Know-How and Product Patents.

  • Diagnostic Product means In Vitro Diagnostics, In Vivo Diagnostic Agents and any product used for Diagnosis.

  • Licensed Product means any method, process, composition, product, service, or component part thereof that would, but for the granting of the rights set forth in this Agreement, infringe a Valid Claim contained in the Licensed Patents.
