Accidental Injuries definition

Accidental Injuries means death or Bodily Injury of the Insured which results directly, solely and independently of any other causes from an Accident AND which occurs within 90 days of the Accident. "Accident" refers to a sudden, unforeseen and involuntary event caused by external, violent and visible means which occurs while the relevant Supplementary Contract is in force and during the lifetime of the Insured.
Accidental Injuries means death or Bodily Injury of the Insured which results directly, solely and independently of any other causes from an Accident AND which occurs within 180 days of the Accident.
Accidental Injuries means accidental physical bodily harm excluding illness or disease solely and directly caused by external, violent and visible and evident means which is verified and certified by a company appointed Medical Practitioner or a Doctor attached to a Government Hospital.

Examples of Accidental Injuries in a sentence

  • Payment will be made at 100% of the allowable charge for covered services associated with any and all Accidental Injuries incurred up to a maximum of $1,000 per Insured per Benefit Period.

  • We will pay the amount of benefit for any of the following Accidental Injuries of the Insured according to the Schedule and provisions below: The amount of benefits are expressed as a percentage of the Sum Assured shown in the Policy Information Page (or as modified by any subsequent endorsement).

  • Dental conditions including dental treatment or oral surgery except as necessitated by Accidental Injuries to sound natural teeth occurring wholly during the Period of Insurance.

  • The Fund shall make payments under this Endorsement only to (1) parents, legal guardians, injured School Guests, or injured Students who have made documented out-of-pocket payments for covered Medical Expenses arising out of Accidental Injuries, or (2) medical providers who have documented outstanding bills for covered Medical Expenses arising out of Accidental Injuries.

  • Disease conditions including, but not limited to: bacterial; metabolic; viral; viral like; or cancer are not considered Accidental Injuries.

  • Dental conditions including dental treatment or oral surgery except as necessitated by Accidental Injuries to sound natural teeth occurring wholly during the Period of takaful coverage.

  • For health and dental services resulting from Accidental Injuries arising out of a motor vehicle accident to the extent such services are payable under any expense payment provisions (by whatever terminology used, including such benefits mandated by law) of any automobile insurance policy.

  • The Deductible and/or Coinsurance provisions of this Program do apply to Accidental Injuries.

  • Dental Care and Treatment including Surgery and dental appliances if required to correct Accidental Injuries of the jaws, cheeks, lips, tongue, roof or floor of mouth, and of sound natural teeth.

  • If the Insured is left-handed, the percentage for the various Accidental Injuries listed in the above schedule of right hand and left hand will be transposed.
