SCOPE AND JURISDICTION. Section 1. This Agreement shall apply to and cover all employees in the titles of Theatre Technician, Theatre Technician Specialist, and Lead Theatre Technician. This Agreement will cover the work performed by employees in the aforementioned CUNY titles (“bargaining unit”), as specifically set forth in their respective job specifications. Section 2. It is understood and agreed that this Agreement does not apply to or cover any current or future work performed as part of the academic mission of the University. Notwithstanding, such work may be assigned to bargaining unit employees at the discretion of the respective college’s performing arts center’s management. (a) Bargaining unit employees may operate rental equipment, or other non-house equipment, except where a rental company requires as a condition of renting equipment the use of its own employees. Local One recognizes the right of a traveling stage crew to work on equipment that the crew brings into the theatre. (b) It is understood that this Agreement shall not apply to the use, by a lessee of the theatre, of its own technical staff to load in, set up, and operate production equipment. In such cases, appropriate supervision shall be assigned. (c) It is understood that this Agreement shall not apply to load in, set up, or operation of theatrical equipment by an artist or performer, where visual projection or audio presentation is the art or performance, or where an integral part of the performance may be set up by, and/or moved by an artist or performer in preparation for or during a performance.

SCOPE AND JURISDICTION. It is agreed that the Employer shall hire workers supplied by Local 16, regardless of venue, to perform all work that is by custom and practice performed by technicians under the jurisdiction of Local 16, including, but not limited to, general carpentry, ground cover for arena and stadium events including terraplast, plywood, tarps or any other cover that may be developed in the future, theater maintenance, construction and assembly of scenery and stages, properties, stage lighting, room lighting and associated electrical work, generator set up and operation, power distribution, all rigging, video, ENG and studio production, sound, laser, electronic recording, graphics presentation, and projection, including slide, video and motion picture projection, and any other work described in EXHIBIT A. It is further agreed that the installation, operation and removal of computers that stand alone, are networked together or that are used for the operation, control or interfacing of any electrical, projection, audio or video equipment is work performed by technicians under the jurisdiction of Local 16. It is further agreed that the Employer may utilize Local 16 technicians to layout, test, package, and prepare equipment as needed for specific shows. All such Local 16 personnel working on such a job will be covered by the wages and conditions of this CBA.

Local 665 (the “UNION”) whose classifications are set forth herein, and who are employed by “TMR EVENTS – XXX XX., LLC.” (the “COMPANY”) to provide services in performance related activities under the control of the Company, and under the jurisdiction of the Union, within the areas of carpentry, rigging, property, electric, sound, video, projection, pyrotechnic, wardrobe, makeup and hair for those events presented or otherwise produced by the Company within the State of Hawai‘i for the term of the agreement. 2. The terms and conditions shall be in effect from “FEBRUARY 01, 2023” through “DECEMBER 31, 2025.” 3. Work to be performed under the jurisdiction of I.A.T.S.E. Local 665 shall include that work done by Stagehands who are bargaining unit employees represented by Local 665, while they are employed by the Company to perform services such as: Take-in and take-out of theatrical scenery, props, costumes and effects; operation of lighting, video & sound equipment; the handling of properties, wardrobe & scenery or other functions as may be described herein. 4. This Agreement covers the following Classifications:

If a tour is governed by the AEA Production Contract (including Tiered Touring) or the AEA SET Contract, then this Agreement shall be superseded and the applicable Union Agreement shall prevail. SCOPE AND JURISDICTION. In general, the scope of this agreement and jurisdiction of the Union shall extend to all theatrical / production costume dressing duties, washing, drying, ironing, stitching, mending, pre-setting of costumes, shoe repair, wardrobe load in and load outs, shoe maintenance, hanging of costumes, packing, and all other work traditionally performed by Wardrobe Local 769 in connection with all theatrical / entertainment type productions, including rehearsals. Only employees of the Employer covered hereby shall perform any of the works on theatrical/ entertainment type productions that come within the jurisdiction of the Union as above described.
